CROSS ROADS - WHAT DO I DO ?

    Hello guys.
 I just want to say I'm so sorry again and this is actually for the last time 🙂 because I know you are tired of seeing this all the time but I promise to now update my blog every week (so help me God).

     Before I continue, I don't know if my blog annoys anyone (like, who does this girl think she is ?, etc.) I am so sorry if it does but my reason for opening this up was just to have a platform on which people who go through down times in their life could just come, read a few posts of mine and just generally walk off after feeling better. I write to with the hope of making people feel good, that's honestly what I do and why I do it.😌 

    Thanks for seeing this from my perspective now, and in addition, this post is inspired by what I notice a lot of people go through on a daily basis: DECISION
MAKING DILEMMAS.

 As you know, everything we do has to do with making decisions which could help the situation or make it worse, like really worse or just leave things stagnant and most times it feels like we know the right thing(s) to do but just seek opinions outside to know if what you are about to do is right and then after seeking opinions, they tell you what you want to hear or tell you what could bring you down if what you're seeking their opinions on has to do with your growth because most people just want to see your downfall and nothing else and then you start to doubt what you were thinking of initially knowing very well that this other person is misleading you.

Sounds impossible, right ?
     I said so to myself when it came up as a topic during a conversation till someone gave us the story of Salome (the weak daughter). Can be found in Mark chapter 6 verses 21-28. It's a very interesting story actually and you should check it out.
So yeah, Salome was asked by the king to make just ONE request promising that no matter what it is, he would do it for her. 🎈. 'Blank cheque' you'll say 💃 but Salome made a mistake by deciding to ask her mom. I am not trying to say that's a bad idea but when she went over to ask her mom, her mom told her to ask for the head of John the Baptist.

Like what ?! This is where Salome being weak comes in because I mean, what was the use of the head to her and she was asked to make just one request. What happened to telling her mom the head was of no use and she wanted a better thing ? It happened already though but I find it so funny.
     Quick Question: WHO DO YOU MEET FOR ADVICE ?

     This is a good case of negative influence and it feels like there's more to the words of advice they give because despite knowing the truth, we still want to go the wrong way but trust me, I was able to make a few points on how to avoid negative influences and they are:

1) Have a relationship with God.

2) Never forget what you stand for.

3) Have a mind of your own.

4) Weigh situations and even if the right thing to do might hurt you, it's just for the time being and everything will be okay.

5) Be collected and ready to do God's will.
